Attended and unattended services from the South Shore of Long Island.
Families of all faiths, as well as non-religious families, may accompany the service and shape the ceremony aboard a U.S.C.G.-licensed vessel. Departures are available from Point Lookout and Freeport.

Attended and unattended scattering of cremated human remains in Atlantic waters off Long Island.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vessel proceeds through Jones Beach Inlet to the burial site at least three nautical miles offshore. Families may take part in prayer, flowers, music, military honors or simply have quiet time together at the water before returning to Long Island.
A Circle of Remembrance marks the burial site as the captain circles the water and sounds the boat’s horn. Families receive a certificate recording the date, time, latitude and longitude of the final resting place.

Captain John Clinton has been navigating the waters off Jones Beach and the South Shore of Long Island for more than 20 years. A licensed U.S.C.G. Master Captain, his background also includes a career as a Detective with the Nassau County Police Department. He presides over attended and unattended services aboard the South Shore Sea Burials fleet.
